What We Treat
Your eyes can show symptoms of abnormalities throughout your entire body. An extended visual field may be recommended by our doctors in order to further assess your symptoms. This test examines your entire field of vision and is used to determine indications of glaucoma, tumors, and more.
Carla Gavilanes Gasparini, OD
Dr. Carla Gavilanes Gasparini is an independent doctor who owns two practices within the Austin & Buda community.
She has been able obtain and manage two separate locations inside of a competitive field. One office is located inside of the Walmart in South Park Meadows & the other inside the Buda Walmart.
Dr. Gasparini provides high-quality care in a small space. She accomplishes this by investing in equipment that provides dual functions, hiring attentive staff, and creating an environment dedicated to the best care.
This setup allows Dr. Gasparini greater flexibility and keeping the flow moving in the office.
Comprehensive Glasses Exam $150
A complete examination of your eyes. This exam includes a prescription for glasses and Optos Optomap laser scan. *Please note: If your Optos Optomap laser scan does not come out clearly, we may need to dilate.
Contact Lens Exam $205-$240
Includes a glasses prescription, a professional contact lens fitting with a prescription, a trial pair of contacts, and Optos Otomap laser scan. *Please note: If your Optos Otomap laser scan does not come out clearly, we may need to dilate.
DMV Screening $185
An applicant who fails their driver's license examination in Texas can complete a more accurate measurement by their eye doctor. The testing required includes Dilation drops, Retinal Imaging, Visual Field Screening, Depth Perception, Color Vision Test, and ultimately a prescription for glasses will be given if applicable. Note: In some cases, examination by more than one specialist may be requested and/or recommended.
Medical Office Visit $150-$225
An exam to treat any issues with your eyes such as burning, itching, dry eye, infection, or any other ocular problems. *Please note: Additional tests may be required. Our doctors are equipped to provide quality care, prescribe necessary medication, and refer you to specialists if needed.
Optos Optomap $39
Optos is the leading retinal imaging company that has an ultra-widefield, high-resolution digital images, and captures approximately 82% and 200° of the retina. No other device can facilitate the early detection, management, and effective treatment of disorders and diseases evidenced in the retina; such as retinal detachments and tears, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration with a single image without having to dilate.
Dilation $35
Our doctors recommend dilation every year if you are 50 or older. When we apply the dilation drops to your eye, it opens up the pupil to give our doctors a better view inside of your eye. It causes a mild near vision blur for two (2) hours after installation of the drops. We recommend someone driving you in case you have to leave right away.

Foreign Body Removal $210-$245
An exam for patients who have something stuck in their eye that they cannot get out. *Please note: A contact bandage may be used for recovery.
Extended Visual Field $140
Your eyes can show symptoms of abnormalities throughout your entire body. An extended visual field may be recommended by our doctors in order to further assess your symptoms. This test examines your entire field of vision and is used to determine indications of glaucoma, tumors, and more.
